Report: New Under 10 Market Emerging, iPod Leads

     A new report on Adage claims “the market for child-focused media content” is exploding as device manufacturers try to capitalize on this newly emerging market. Apparently a third of all children under ten use a digital audio player and iPod is the device of choice for more than half of them. Where there’s an iPod, there’s a third-party accessory nearby and so peripheral manufacturers are also eyeing this new growth trend. The report goes on to say the average under ten child’s media collection includes “125 songs, 10 TV shows and 15 movies”.
